Paulégoné is a product development company built around Paul Skelton — a 22-year industrial designer and product engineer who has worked across corporate, agency, startup, and freelance, in nearly every role on the product development chain.
The positioning is unusual on purpose: most product designers stop at CAD. I take products all the way through manufacturing, supplier coordination, and — for my own brands — into retail, advertising, and customer support. That whole arc is the work, and I know which decisions early in design will cost or save money in production three years later.
SoftCrutch is shipping. PocketPans is in validation. Other product concepts are at varying stages. The pipeline informs the contract work in both directions: I bring the discipline of running my own retail to client engagements, and what I learn from clients sharpens what I build under my own brand.
